When was Global Legal Solutions (LPO) formed?
Global Legal Solutions (LPO) was founded by Shakeel Mohamed (Member of Parliament, Mauritius) and Zakir Mohamed (Partner, MC Law Offices) in 2009 in Port Louis, Mauritius. Global Legal Solutions is an emerging company comprising of some of the most experienced lawyers and other professionals who have practiced law for a number of years.
Where are you located in Mauritius?
Our office is located in the cultural and modern city of Port Louis, which is also the capital of Mauritius. Our office spans across an area of 4000 sq ft., inclusive of state-of-the-art infrastructure and IT capabilities.
Have you ever served clients based in the US and the UK markets?
Our teams have years of experience in meeting legal expectations of wide range of clients based out in the US, the UK, Europe, Canada and Mauritius. They understand all the complexities involved in the legal industry relating to confidentiality, security and timeliness.
How much can I save by outsourcing to Mauritius?
By offshoring low-end legal tasks which are typically transactional in nature, our clients have made saving in region of 30% to 40%, while in case of high-end legal activities, our clients could save up to 60-70%. However, your savings may be incredibly more depending on the length or duration of the project. What kind of training is provided to new employees?
We specifically provide training as far as the legal system of the countries where our clients are based, most notably including the US and the UK, language skills and key cultural differences. Some of our training is also project oriented whereby we train a team dedicated for client project in specifically identified areas. We do not bill our clients for the training offered to our employees in any form.
What types of databases do you subscribe to carry legal research? Do you charge us for incorporating any new or existing database or software of any kind?
We have a number of databases required to carry out necessary research including USPTO, Westlaw, LexisNexis and others. We do not charge any fee with regards to these databases.
Can you customize your formats as per our requirements at the time of project delivery?
Yes, our team is well trained on the customizing and delivering the project on formats as required by our clients.
What is your pricing structure?
We typically charge our clients on a per hour basis, a lump sum fee, project basis or on a per man basis. We are flexible in customizing our proposals suiting your needs.
How do you ensure that our data is secured?
We adhere by all the international standards to ensure that your data remains safe and there is no breach of any kind at our end. We have not only taken necessary IT measures but have also taken other physical measures to protect your interest.
How do you update your clients about an on-going project?
We only say what we can accomplish. Right from the beginning, our dedicated team works with our clients to identify, incorporate and manage their expectations. Thereafter, our team at operation abides by the set standards mentioned in the SLA (service level agreement). Our project manager(s) of the respective team regularly updates our clients through consistent exchange of e-mails, video conferences, customized softwares and telephonic conversations. |
